CLAIM: The New Testament was DEFINITELY written in the FIRST century.
Evidence: The Shepherd of Hermas text is dated from A.D. 140 to 155 and as early as A.D. 115 to 140, or even before the end of the first century. The Shepherd makes many allusions to the Old Testament but also QUOTES FIFTEEN of the New Testament books!
